1. The Fishtail French Braid
This type of braided hairstyle simply combines two braid types into one, to do this start at the top of your head with a regular fishtail braid. Split a section of your hair into two sides, take a piece from the outer edge of one side and cross it over the to join the other. Repeat on the other side.
Add the French braid styles element by repeating these steps while adding in extra loose hair from the sides of your head each time you cross a piece over.
Repeat this process on either side. Viola, you just got yourself a fishtail french braid.
2. World’s Simplest Crown Braid
It’s one of the simplest braids to make, read below how it’s done. Part your hair in the middle, then divide it into two even sections, then braid each section regularly, and secure the ends with a clear elastic.
Lightly tug the loops of the braids outward to make them fatter. Next, flip the braids up and over the top of your head, and secure them there with bobby pins. Free a few strands of hair so they fall around your face for a softer lush look.
3. Boho Braid
Create a centre part. Then, grab a four- or five-inch section of hair on one side of your head. You’ll use this to create half of your braid.
Braid this section of hair, starting loosely at the top and braiding toward the back of your head (instead of braiding straight down), so the braid is at a slight slant.
Secure the end with an elastic. Cross the first braid behind your head so that it swoops down toward the nape of your neck. Now, pin it to the back of your head with bobby pins, making sure to tuck in the tail.
4. Side French Braid
While still looking stunning, this style is also seriously easy to create. Along with using less hair, it will also be easier to see what you’re doing at the side of your head rather than the back.
Additionally, as the braid will also be shorter and lower than a traditional French braid, creating it will be less strenuous on your arms. Once braided, you can leave your hair loose or tie it into a ponytail.
5. Half-Up Twist
To do this gather two small sections of hair near one side of your part, and twist the front piece of hair over the one behind it. Add a new section of hair to the front piece, as well as a new section of hair to the back piece.
Twist the sections as you did before with the front piece going over the back piece, continue twisting this way adding new sections of hair to each of the two pieces as you twist.
Once you reach the back of your head, stop adding in new sections of hair. Simply twist the two sections normally until you reach the end, and secure with a clear elastic.
Repeat these steps on the other side of your head. Finish off by securing the style to your head with a few bobby pins. Once it’s secure, you can remove the elastics.
6. Romantic Fishtail
